Need help with this problem in order to figure out three others.
What volume of 2.25 M HCI in liters is needed to Completely react with 0.500 L of 0.400 M Na2CO3?

  • Chemistry -

    Write the equation and balance it.

    Na2CO3 + 2HCl ==> H2O + CO2 + 2NaCl

    moles Na2CO3 = M x L = ??
    Using the coefficients in the balanced equation, convert moles Na2CO3 to moles HCl.
    Now using M = mols/L, convert HCl to volume.
