The formula t(n+1)over 2 will determine a triangular number, where n is a natural number. For what value of n will the triangular number 325 be found?

  • algebra -

    The correct formula is n(n+1)/2, NOT t(n+1)/2

    If that number is 325,
    n(n+1) = 650, and so
    n = 25
