A POLE IS LEANING AGANIST A TREE SO THAT THE TOP OF THE POLE IS AT A HEIGHT OF 22FT.THE BUTTON OF THE POLE IS ON THE GEOUND 6FT AWAY THE TREE.WHAT IS THE SLOPE OF THE POLE LEANING AGAINST THEE TREE

    Think of the top of the tree as 22 on the y axis, the bottom of the pole on the ground 6 away from the origin in the positive x direction.
    Slope = change in y / change in x
    Slope = (22 - 0) / (6 - 0) = ....
    I think you can do the rest.
    Hope this helped. Peace.
