You have just built a swimming pool measuring 12 feet width by 28 feet length and 12.5 feet depth. how much water will it take to fill it to a depth of 8 ft

Assuming that the pool has a flat bottom, the volume of water is
V=length*width*height
=28*12*8 cubic feet
