I am an improper fraction that is more than two and one third and less thatn two and three fourths. The sum of my numerator and denominator is 29. What number am I?

  • 6th grade -

    2 1/3 = 7/3 = 28/12 = 2.333....
    2 3/4 = 11/4= 33/12 = 2.75

    x/(29-x)

    28/1
    27/2
    26/3
    ...

    25/4

    22/7 = 3.14 (approximation of pi)
