I'm using the sin formula. I've got w over 1.2 and I'm not sure whether I should multiply it out by 1.2 or by w? The formula looks like this

sin20 = w/1.2

s=w/1.2

Solve for w gives
w=1.2s
Look up the value of sin(20°) and multiply it by 1.2 will give you w, which should be less than 1.2, because sin(θ) is always less than or equal to 1.
