3m does not equal 8m

I think what she is trying to say is, 3m=8m
because you have to divide 3m by 8m. 
There's no division sign in this problem.
The only solution is if m = 0 
Did you mean 3m=8? Divide both sides by 3 and get m=8/3.

3m=8m
devide both sides by 3
m=8m\3
