3) A graduated cylinder has 25.0mL of water in it before an aluminum cube with the mass of 10.0g is added to it. What is the new level of water in the cylinder?

  • chemistry -

    mass = volume x density or
    volume = mass/density

    You know mass and density is 2.70 g/mL.
    Solve for volume, then add that to 25.0 mL

  • chemistry -

    28.7 ml
