what are the condensed structured formulas of the products in each of the following reactions:
cyclohexane+ H2-->Pt

and
cis-2-butene+ H2 -->Pt

    I can't find anything definite about the first reaction. The second one forms butane.

    There is no reaction in the first reaction. It is not possible to reduce cyclohexane further.

    And agreed, the second one forms butane.
