suppose two gases in a container have a total pressure of 1.20 atm.What is the pressure of gas B if the partical pressure of gas Ais 0.75 atm?

    Dalton's Law of Partial Pressure says that the total pressure equals the sum of the partial pressures of each gas (that is, each gas exerts a partial pressure independent of the other gases).
    Ptotal = PgasA + PgasB.
