I'm having trouble simplifying two problems with exponents. Please help. Thanks.
1. [(2)^4]^3
2. 10^7 . 1/10

[(2)^4]^3
= (2)^12
= 4096
10^7 . 1/10
Is that dot supposed to be a multiplication sign?
if so, then
(10^7)( 1/10) = 10^6 = 1 000 000
