A new computer has a virus and you throw it out the window which is 10m above the ground. If the mass of the computer is 5.7kg, how much kinetic energy will it have when it has fallen 5m?

  • Physics -

    change in potential energy = m g h = 5.7*9.8*5
which is the kinetic energy (assuming you just dropped it and did not throw it hard.
