Regarding to the adiabatic Process..
Why is there a DRY ADIABATIC RATE and a SATURATED ADIABATIC RATE?

    See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lapse_rate

The wet adiabatic process has a lower change of temperature with pressure, becayse of condensation or evaporation of water that might be occurring if the humidity is high.
