A jewelry store wishes to rpice a watch that costs \$65 to yield a gross profit (mark-up) of 52% of thier costs. Find the selling price?

• Maths -

Fist of all tings you do, you have two calculate the percentage- 52% of \$65= \$33.80. ( 52/100 x 65).
Then you have to add the number, in this case you add on \$33.80 to the original amount which is \$65; so, \$65 + \$33.80 = \$98.80
