i have a quesion about an experiment of Separating a Mixture of Nails, Salt, Sand, Oil and water. 1) what components did you separate from the mixture first?

    I assume you separated the nails first with a magnet. I suggest you writ for your answer what YOU separated first.

    I did not do the experiment. Did you?

    A magnet could have been used first to separate the nails, or the oil could hav4 been removed from the top to separate the oil. You also might have done this in a different order.
