Do you think involvement by a prosecutor in the original stages of an investigation is a good idea?

  • Criminal justice -

    I'd say no -- that the detectives and CSI folks should do their work first. Then the DA staff won't waste time on anything that might not be a valid case at all.

    Others may have different opinions.
