where will i be able to find the % of bank reserve ratio required by banks for each country?

all i know is that in uk its 10% and USA there is no limit n the amount you need to keep

Try here for US banks in the Federal banking system:

http://www.federalreserve.gov/monetarypolicy/reservereq.htm

State-chartered banks have their own requirements, which vary by state -- good luck with that

thanks

To find the required bank reserve ratios for different countries, you can typically refer to the central bank or the banking regulatory authority of each country. Here are some steps you can follow to find this information:

1. Identify the central bank or banking regulatory authority of the country you are interested in. In the UK, it would be the Bank of England, while in the US, it would be the Federal Reserve.

2. Visit the official website of the central bank or banking regulatory authority.

3. Look for information related to banking regulations, monetary policy, or financial stability. Central banks often provide detailed information about reserve requirements as part of their mandate to regulate the banking sector.

4. Search for documents, reports, or publications that outline the reserve requirements for banks. These documents might include financial stability reports, monetary policy statements, or bank regulatory frameworks.

5. Once you locate the relevant document, you should be able to find the specific reserve ratio requirements for banks operating in that country.

Remember that reserve ratios can be subject to change depending on the monetary policy goals and economic conditions of each country. Therefore, it is advisable to refer to the most up-to-date information available on the official websites of the central banks or banking regulatory authorities.
