The distance that light travels in 1 year (a light year) is 5.88x10^12 miles. If a star is 2.4x10^8 light years away, what is the distance to that star in miles? Answer in standard notation.
I put the answer 1411200000000000000000 miles and it says I'm wrong. Can someone explain to me the right answer?

That same question was answered yesterday, but it is faster to answer again, rather than find it
distance = 5.88x10^12 x 2.4x10^8
= 14.112x10^20
= 1.41 x 10^21
