the perimeter of a rectangle is 62 m. then length is 10 m more than twice the width. find the dimensions

what is the length?

what is the width?

  • math -

    2L + 2W = P

    L = 10 + 2W

    2(10 + 2W) + 2W = 62
    20 + 4W + 2W = 62
    6W = 42
    W = 7

    L = 14 + 10
    L = 24

    Check my figures.
