I need to write small essay on the subject - life without electricity.
Think of all of the electrical things we rely upon -- lights, computer, internet, flush toilets, running water, TV, refrigerator, etc. The list would be longer if you include the gadgets that run on electric batteries.
Now -- imagine living as my friend did for several weeks each year. His cabin has no electricity -- so he used an outhouse and kerosene lanterns. He kept food cold in an ice chest and cooked on a gas stove. He carried large jugs of water from places that had an electric pump. If there had been a well, he could have used a hand pump to get water.
