Very confused, and in need of help! I got 10 problems like this...Thanks!

Let f(x) = 6/x-1 and g(x)= 1+3/x

Please find the composite function (fog)(x)

  • Algebra -

    I will assume you mean f(x) = 6/(x-1) and g(x)= 1+(3/x)

    (fog)(x) means f(g(x))

    so f(g(x))
    = f((1+3/x)
    = 6/(1+3/x - 1)
    = 6/(3/x)
    = 6(x/3) = 2x
