Evaluate the integral.

-2 at the bottom of the integral sign and 7 at the top. f(x)dx

f(x)={x if x<1 and 1/x if x> or equal to 1

I'm not sure how you would apply these two concepts together?

  • Calculus -

    Do it as two integrals and add them.
    integral of x dx from -2 to 1
    plus
    integral of dx/x from 1 to 7
