Amanda sold 6 of the 12 stickers she bought at 0.49 cents each for 0.75 cents each and the reamining stickers at 40 cents each.Did amanda make a profit or loss selling stickers??

6 stickers were sold for 0.26 cents more which is = \$1.56
6 stickers were sold for 40 cents less which is =0.54
Therefore Amanda made a loss on buying and selling stickers since she spent \$5.88 on 12 stickers and made \$2.10, am i right???

• Mathematics -

12 * .49 = 5.88 (Investment)

(6 * .75) + (6 * .40) = 4.50 + 2.40 = 6.90 (Earnings)

6.90 - 5.88 = Profit

I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
