Factor by Grouping. PLEASE SHOW ME THE STEPS!

1.) 8a^2+12ab-3b^2-2ab

2.) x^2+5x+7x+35

3.)

• Algebra -

First, combine like terms. Then factor. Take #2 as an example:

x^2 + 5x + 7x + 35 = x^2 + 12x + 35

To factor, consider what two numbers would give a product of 35 and a sum of 12.

I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
