what is air made up of?
what causes wind?

  • air -

Air is made of nitrogen (78%), oxygen (21%) and argon (0.9%) . There is also about 0.04% CO2.

Wind is caused by atmospheric pressure differences. These in turn are due to uneven heating of the atmosphere and changes in humidity.
