Lee worked 22 hours this week and made $132. If she works 15 hours next week at the same pay rate, how much will she make?

Set up a proportion and cross multiply.
22/132 = 15/x
ok that is the equation that I had got as well but how do I cross multiply?

Multiply the first and last terms together. Then multiply the middle two terms together.
22/132 = 15/x
22x = 132 * 15
22x = 1980
x = 90
You could also find her hourly wage for the 22hour week and apply it to her 15hour week.
