Find the reciprocal of (-1/3)(9/2)(6)

Thanks!

1. Chopsticks

Reciprocal means the opposite

Just flip those numbers.

So, do I multiply them once I flip them. or is the answer (-3/1)(2/9)(6)?

3. Bella

first multiply and solve then flip
-6/54 i believe

If I multiply the first two fractions and the answer is 6/54, do I then multiply it by the 6?

5. Bella

you multiply the first two fractions and the answer is -9/6 then you multiply it by the last fraction and you're answer is -54/6
so the reciprocal(flip it around) is -6/54

i don't think you're paying attention Sadie, it's quite simple :)

Thank you for your help this evening.

7. Bella

you're very welcome....goodnight!
