what is the area of a pastry used to cover a slice of bery pie having outer crust arc of 7.6 cm and a central angle of 30 degrees?

My answer: 661.88 cm sqr
Answer: 55.2 cm sqr

    30 degrees is 1/12 of the pie.

    The covered area is (1/2)pi R^2
    You need to figure out R from the arc length.
    30 degrees is pi/6 radians
    The arc length is R*(pi/6) = 7.6
    Therefore R = 14.51 cm
    (1/2) pi R^2 = 55.2 cm^2
