predicate and subject in sentences

I have problems pointing out the predicate and subjects. I got all my problems wrong.
please provide in example sentences on whic is the subject and what are the predicate ?

  • predicate and subject in sentences -

    The predicate is the verb and the words that go with it.

    The subject tells who or what is doing the action.

    In the following sentences, I've bolded the complete subject and underlined the complete predicate.

    Mom fixed chicken and noodles for dinner.

    The smart kids in my class always do their homework.
