Sales support can be different things, depending on the sort of product or service a company is involved with. It might involve technical back-up (the salesperson relies on someone at the office who has access to specifications, protocols for troubleshooting, etc.) or order follow up (someone making sure that something sold gets processed into the system, and ultimately gets to the customer).
