Find the unknown value in the percent proportation part/whole = percent/100
part is 5 and percent is 4

5/whole = 4/100

    Let's let N stand for the whole and cross multiply.

    5/n = 4/100
    4n = 500
    n = 125

    5 is 4% of 125
