A quality control inspector found flaws in 13 out of 150 sweaters. Find the probabillity that a sweater has a flaw. Round to nearest tenth of a %

Suppose the company produces 600 sweaters/day. How many WILL have flaws?

PS! I have sent them in separatly.
3 step problem!!!

  • MATH -

    13/150 = .08666 times 100 = 8.6666...% to nearest tenth percent = 8.7%

    .087 * 600 = 52

    could also say 600 * (13/150) = 52
