I am really not certain on the following question:

Which compounds contain stereocenters??

I) 1-chloropentane
II) 2-chloropentane
III) 3-chloropentane
IV) 1,2-dicloropentane

a)-> I, II
b)-> III, IV
c)-> I, III
d)-> II, IV

I) 1-cloropentane has sterocenters...right?

    should it be: 2-chloropentane & 1,2-dichloropentane???
    ie. "D" ??? I don't think that it could be "I or III"
