Lady Macbeth and Ophelia are integral parts of these plays, yet they are polar opposites in characteristics and personality.

"Lady Macbeth and Ophelia are integral parts of these plays, yet they are polar opposites in characteristics and personality."

I would say "integral characters" not "parts." Other than that, it sounds good.

One other thing -- have you named the plays and author in another part of the introduction? The thesis usually goes at the end of the introduction, so I hope those specifics are already taken care of.

=)

Yes! Thank you so much!!
