In Mary shelley's frankenstein, did frankenstein believe in democracy?

This site will give you information on Themes and Motifs in that book.

However,NOW the term Frankenstein has come to have an anti-democratic connotation.
It is now understood to mean "trampling over those who oppose". This does not mean that in the book that is what Frankenstein wanted to do. He looked after the less fortunate. You will need to decide whether his "intentions" or his "physical problems " are what guided his nature.
