am i understanding this word correctly. Its under the Hindu RELGION FOR THE TERM:
Guru:
what i understood a guru is like a teacher or a spiritual guide that teaches others to follow them as becoming the guide just like a teacher for others.

What means TERM?

A TERM IS A WORD THAT YOU HAVE TO DEFINE WHICH IS THE MEANING. tHE TERM OR WORD THAT I AM TRYING TO DEFINE AND UNDERSTAND IS GURU Its a word from the hinduism religion.

Jasmine, exactly a "guru" is a teacher, or as some suggest a person who "leads others into a learning." I think of a guru as someone who helps other discover new ideas. <G>
