The theme of my novel, White Fang, centers around the concept of survival and adaptation in a harsh and unforgiving wilderness. One specific place where this theme is evident is on page 42, where White Fang is described as a fierce and dominant wolf in the Yukon Territory. This demonstrates how in order to survive, White Fang had to adapt to his environment and become a formidable predator. Another instance is on page 97, when White Fang has to learn to trust and rely on humans for his survival, despite his instincts telling him otherwise. This theme is important because it highlights the struggle for survival in a brutal natural world and the necessity of adaptation and cooperation in order to endure. It also speaks to the resilience of the human and animal spirit in the face of challenging circumstances.
