What don't you understand?

I understand what it says but I don’t know what to say... I’m not good at expressing myself through writing

Ok -- let's take it one step at a time.

Think about the topic -- your attitudes toward writing.

Prewrite: Jot down a few of the words that come to mind when you think of writing. Think of any significant experiences you have had that have shaped your attitude toward writing.
What words have you written down?

Plan: Look over your pre-writing try to sum up your attitude toward writing in a single word or phrase. What word or phrase sums up your attitude?

Write an opening sentence for your paragraph using that word or phrase use one of the following sentences filling in the blank with your word or phrase or construct your own sentence.
My attitude toward writing is______
When I think about Writing I feel____

When you have finished the above, please post your opening sentence. I'll help you from there.

Prewrite: When I think of writing, some words that come to mind are creativity, expression, communication, and exploration. One significant experience that has shaped my attitude toward writing is when I wrote my first short story in elementary school and received positive feedback from my teacher. It made me realize the power of words and how they can captivate others. In terms of writing habits, I consider myself organized. I like to plan and structure my writing before diving into it, which helps me stay focused and coherent. However, I do admit that I sometimes struggle with procrastination, especially when it comes to longer writing projects.

Plan: Summing up my attitude toward writing in a single word or phrase, I would choose "passionate expression." Constructing an opening sentence for my paragraph, I would say, "My attitude toward writing is one of passionate expression."
