Simplify the following in one short sentence and give a short example

Reliability is the extent to which a test measures a particular construct
consistently. If a test is considered reliable, one would expect an
individual to obtain similar results when tested on the same test on a
separate occasion. There are a number of methods that are used to
establish whether the test is reliable or not and these include the testretest method, split-half method, internal consistency method and
parallel-forms method

Reliability in testing means consistent results are obtained when the test is taken multiple times, using methods such as test-retest, split-half, internal consistency, and parallel forms.

Example: The test for measuring memory recall in students was found to be reliable as the same group of students achieved similar scores when they retook the test a week later.
