1. An icon or symbol that represents that form of government
2. A slogan that could be used to promote that form of government in an ad campaign (ad on

3. Who rules in this type of government? How is it decided who should rule? Who has the real

4. Who has no power or say in this type of government? How are they excluded?

Monarchy (limited/absolute):

2. Slogan: "The Tradition of Kingship: A Legacy of Stability and Heritage!"
3. In a monarchy, the ruler is usually a king or queen who inherits their position through bloodline or marriage. The power is usually determined by birthright or lineage, with the real power lying in the hands of the monarch.
4. The citizens or subjects have limited power or say in this type of government. Their role is mainly to obey the rule of the monarch and follow their decisions. Political decisions are often made by the monarch and their advisors without much input from the citizens.
5. An example of a country with a monarchy in modern times is the United Kingdom. King or Queen Elizabeth II is the current monarch.

Dictatorship:
1. Icon or symbol: Fist with chains breaking
2. Slogan: "One Vision, One Rule, One Destiny: Embrace the Strength of a Dictatorship!"
3. In a dictatorship, a single leader assumes power through various means such as force or manipulation. The ruler often maintains control through absolute authority, without any checks and balances. They decide who should rule, and they hold the real power.
4. The citizens or population of a dictatorship have little to no power or say in the government. Their opinions and preferences are suppressed, and they are often excluded from political decision-making. Dissent is usually not tolerated, and opposition is often met with severe consequences.
5. An example of a country with a dictatorship in modern times is North Korea, ruled by Kim Jong-un.

Democracy (Direct/Representative):
1. Icon or symbol: Ballot box
2. Slogan: "Your Voice, Your Choice: Embrace Democracy's Power!"
3. In a democracy, the government is generally ruled by the people, either directly or indirectly. In a direct democracy, citizens participate directly in decision-making, while in a representative democracy, citizens elect representatives to make decisions on their behalf. The real power lies with the people or their elected representatives.
4. In a democratic system, all citizens have the power to participate and have a say in the government through voting, voicing their opinions, and engaging in discussions or protests. However, individuals who are not citizens, such as non-residents or underage individuals, may have limited or no power.
5. An example of a country with a democracy in modern times is the United States of America.

Republic:
1. Icon or symbol: Bald eagle
2. Slogan: "Strength in Unity: Upholding the Values of a Republic!"
3. In a republic, the government is a form of democracy where the head of state is an elected or appointed president, rather than a monarch. The president, along with other appointed representatives or leaders, rules the country. The real power lies in the hands of elected officials and representatives.
4. The citizens of a republic have the power to elect their leaders and participate in the decision-making process through voting and other democratic means. However, individuals who are not citizens or have limited political rights may have less power or no say in the government.
5. An example of a country with a republic form of government in modern times is Germany.

Theocracy:
1. Icon or symbol: Cross or religious emblem
2. Slogan: "Faith Guiding the Nation: Embrace the Divine Rule of a Theocracy!"
3. In a theocracy, religious leaders or institutions govern the country. The rulers' authority is believed to come from a higher power or religious texts. The decision of who should rule is based on religious doctrines or hierarchies. The real power lies with the religious leaders or institutions.
4. Those who do not belong to the established religion or do not adhere to its principles may have limited or no power in a theocracy. Their lack of belief or non-conformity to the established religious norms often excludes them from political participation or decision-making.
5. An example of a country with a theocratic form of government in modern times is Iran.

Totalitarianism:
1. Icon or symbol: Hammer and sickle or a clenched fist
2. Slogan: "Unity Through Control: Embrace the Power of Totalitarian Rule!"
3. In a totalitarian system, a single party or leader exercises absolute control over all aspects of the government and society. The ruler or ruling party decides who should rule, often through force or manipulation, and holds the real power.
4. In a totalitarian regime, the citizens have no power or say in the government. Dissent or opposition is brutally suppressed, and individuals who try to challenge the ruling party or leader are subjected to severe punishments or even elimination.
5. An example of a country with a totalitarian form of government in modern times was Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler.
