Why don't people go to the mars
There are several reasons why people currently do not go to Mars:
1. Distance: Mars is about 225 million kilometers away from Earth on average, which makes it extremely challenging to travel to. It would take months to reach Mars even with current technology.
2. Cost: Sending humans to Mars would require significant financial resources. Developing the spacecraft, technology, and all the necessary infrastructure for a manned mission to Mars would cost billions of dollars.
3. Health risks: The journey to Mars would expose astronauts to long periods of microgravity, radiation, and the physical and psychological effects of being in space for an extended period. These risks need to be understood and mitigated before sending humans to Mars.
4. Technical challenges: Mars has a harsh environment with an extremely thin atmosphere, extreme temperatures, and no protection from solar radiation. Developing the necessary technology and systems to support human life on Mars, including habitat, life support, food production, and energy generation, is a significant challenge.
5. Exploration priorities: Currently, space agencies and governments prioritize exploring the Moon and conducting robotic missions to Mars to gather data and knowledge before attempting human missions. These missions help understand the challenges and risks better.
Despite these challenges, there are plans and ongoing research to send humans to Mars in the future, with NASA's Artemis program and private companies like SpaceX working towards this goal.
