I have just witnessed a most spectacular event! I had occasion to visit the
Austrian Imperial Court in Vienna, where a musical exhibition was under way. A mere
six-year-old boy was playing the clavier with the mastery of a professional musician.
It was miraculous, watching his miniature fingers flutter along the keys like twittering
birds! This young genius's name was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. After the
performance, I warmly congratulated the boy and gave him a peppermint.
