What does Satan say to Dante in Canto 34?

repent or you will end up here
nothing (his mouths are full)
through me is the way back to earth
how dare you traverse my kingdom

Nothing. Satan's mouths are full and he is unable to speak.

In Canto 34 of Dante's Inferno, Satan does not speak directly to Dante. As Dante and Virgil reach the lowest point of Hell, they come face to face with Satan. Satan is depicted as a three-faced monster with mouths full of sinners in each face. He is completely trapped in the frozen lake at the center of Hell, flapping his wings to try and escape.

Satan does not communicate with Dante through speech, but his physical appearance and actions convey certain messages. He represents the ultimate punishment for sin, and his presence serves as a warning to sinners. Dante and Virgil observe him for a while before making their way out of Hell, using Satan's body as a path.
