Lateral Area

Lateral area refers to the sum of the areas of all the faces of a three-dimensional object except for the top and bottom faces.

The lateral area refers to the total surface area of a three-dimensional object, excluding its base(s). In other words, it is the sum of the areas of all the sides of the object, not including the top or bottom.
