Tokyo Revengers
Tokyo Revengers is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, a 20-something underachiever who learns that his middle school girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, and her younger brother, Naoto, were both murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang. Takemichi is then suddenly transported back in time to when he was in middle school, giving him a chance to prevent their deaths and alter the future. He becomes involved with the Tokyo Manji Gang in order to save Hinata and Naoto, but he must also confront his own past and personal demons along the way.
The manga series has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine since March 2017 and has been compiled into 26 tankōbon volumes as of September 2021. An anime television series adaptation by Liden Films premiered in April 2021, which received positive responses from audiences worldwide.
