The Tokyo Revengers manga follows Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old unemployed man who is at the lowest point in his life. One day, he finds out that his ex-girlfriend Hinata Tachibana has been killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang. He then travels back in time twelve years to his middle school days in order to save her. Along the way, he meets the Tokyo Manji Gang and forms an alliance with them in order to take down the Tokyo Manji Gang’s leader, Mikey. With the help of his newfound allies, Takemichi is able to save Hinata and prevent her death. However, in the process, he also discovers the truth behind the Tokyo Manji Gang and the dark secrets of the city of Tokyo. In the end, Takemichi and his allies are able to bring down Mikey and restore peace to the city.
