Changes in volume
An empty bottle, at 25°C, has a volume of 2 L. What will the new volume be if you put it in a freezer at -4°C?
1 answer
If the bottle is rigid; i.e., a glass bottle then the volume stays the same no matter what. If the sides are flexible then (V1/T1) = (V2/T2). Remember to convert celsius temperature kelvin temperature.
