Potassium sulphate and water are produced from the neutralisation reaction of sulphuric acid and potassium hydroxide

a)Write balance equation for the neutralization reaction
b)Calculate the mass of potassium sulphate produced If 0.85 mol of potassium hydroxide is use for the neutralisation process.

2KOH + H2SO4 ==> K2SO4 + 2H2O

Using the coefficients in the balanced equation, convert mols of what you have (in this case KOH) to moles of what you want (in this case K2SO4).
0.85 mols KOH x (1 mol K2SO4/2 mols KOH) = 0.85 x 1/2 = 0.425 mols K2SO4.
Now convert mols K2SO4 to grams with g = mols KSO4 x molar mass K2SO4 = ?
