yeah I believe the poem to be Alice pointing out the stark differences that are sadly apparent in her world. The sad standards of racial tension as earlier when she speaks of the innocent hand being an innocent young black girl so seems to be upset with the society norms-pointing out the creul realities or and trying to flip them around as "white bubbles" being the pest to the earth? That's just my take on the line but I believe she is intentionally addresing racial discrimination.
It's certainly a contrast between "good" and "bad." This is an interesting analysis of this story.
