The perimeter of a rectangle is 110 inches. The length exceeds the width by 41 inches. Find the length and the width. I can't seem to figure out this last question. Don;t know where to start. Please help it is my last question.
P = 2L * 2W
L = W + 41
110 = 2W + 2(W + 41)
110 = 4W + 82
110 - 82 = 4W
I'm sure you can take it from there.
